doing something

Do you sometime have the feeling you need more time?  Would you rather do nothing instead of working all the time?

I might not have this feeling right now, but when I think of my roommate, I can't stop myself to think: Thank God, I'm doing something with my life!  And even if I don't do much, I have the feeling I'm busy.

Why I told you that?  To remind you that it's often better to have the feeling we are overwhelmed than the feeling we are doing nothing.

The writing machine

Some time, internet could be a real obtacle when you are working home. You want to read the news, check the weather, watch a video online, play a quick game, check if there's nothing new in the news, read an article, google the name of the author...
But, there's also a blog.  A blog that you put as home page.  The blog of your friend who remind you to go back to work and write.


Because you are a WRITING MACHINE.

L'attention en classe

Cette semaine, un élève me dit tout simplement : tu as des boutons.

 

Irrespect?  Non, seulement cela prouve qu'il porte attention à quelque chose à défaut d'écouter ce que je dis.  Comme quoi le visuel passe souvent en premier.

trésors du congélateur - happy february

Franchement, il y a quelque chose qui ensoleille mieux un triste samedi de février que de découvrir des fraises du Québec d'une virée au marché l'été dernier qui dormaient dans son congélateur?

Hop, on sort la crème fraîche, on fait de la crème fouettée aux fraises et on confectionne un gâteau des anges qu'on accompagnera d'un bon café espresso.

Is there something better than frozen stawberries from last summer found in the freezer in February?   Hop, I made stawberries whipe cream, a angel cake and an espresso.  It's good to taste a bit of summer again.

No coffee, but a friend

This morning, I wake up and I found no milk in the refrigerator, my new and nice coffee maker broken and with a stain i wasn't able to wash.

The good new is that I complained to a dear friend and he found a way to make me smile.  Thanks to all these friends who are there for us when we need them.

Ce matin, j'ai voulu faire un café et j'ai découvert que quelqu'un avait terminé le lait, utilisé ma nouvelle et si belle cafetière italienne et l'avait brûlé (la rondelle de caoutchouc est maintenant inutilisable et il y a des marques que je ne suis pas capable d'enlever sur la cafetière).

La bonne nouvelle est que je me suis confiée à un ami qui a su me réconforter et même me faire sourire.
Un gros merci à tous les amis qui savent être là dans ces moments de détresse psychologique.
