il pleut - it's raining

Today it's raining.  The weather is so bad that my weekend was cancelled.  If i'm a little bit disapointed not to spend the weekend with my friend in her nice and quiet house, I'm glad I could have stay home and call another dear friend.  As Hans im Glück would say: nothing could be any better

Aujourd'hui, il pleut.  En fait, il ne fait pas que pleuvoir: il neige, il grêle, il fait froid.  Du coup, la fin de semaine en visite à la campagne est à l'eau.  Mais ce n'est pas cela qui va noyer mon moral.  Au contraire, cela a pu me permettre de rester à la maison et de passer un bon moment avec un ami cher au téléphone.
